Speaking of using some of that swell Japanese masking tape...I finally whipped up some labels for my peach jam and thought this would be a cool way to update the old school ribbon.
Just lay a nice piece along the lid band and it's all spiffy.

How wickedly smart is this idea to use cute japanese masking tape to make custom twisty ties!? Ingenious!She does one at a time in this demo but I think you could do some long rows of it and cut a bunch at once, expediting the effort.
